
Valpolicella Ripasso
Obtained from Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara and a small percentage of Croatina grape varieties. It is a Valpolicella that is left to re-ferment on the marcs of the Amarone and Recioto wines.
COLOR: ruby red with reflexes
BOUQUET: red fruits, especially sour cherry, pomegranate, mixed berries and hints of marmalade.
TASTE: rich, persistent, well-balanced, full-bodied
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: an important wine for savory meals; it goes well with roasts in general, grilled meats, soups and first courses with meat ragout.
