Area of production: Valpolicella classica area "Podere le Pontare", exposed to the sun from the early hours of the morning

Soil: tuffaceous, clayey and calcareous

Growing method: Veronese-style bower with an average age of over 30 years

Grape variety:
Corvina veronese 70%, Rondinella 20%, Molinara 5%, other 5%.

Harvest:
from the end of September to the middle of October; the grapes are then placed in “fruttai” to wither until the end of January.

Vinification: at the end of January with a stop in the fermentation process through refrigeration in order to preserve the sugar content.

Refinement: over 8 months in bottle.

Color:dark burgundy red

Bouquet: intense bouquet of cherries and mixed berries, spicy, harmonic and well-balanced.

Taste: slightly sweet, full and velvety

Alcoholic content: 13,5% Vol.

Serving suggestions:it goes well with all kinds of dry pastry, also excellent with some soft cheese varieties, ideal when enjoyed amongst friends.

Service: serve at room temperature
